How to be a part of the first-bite festival
Submissions for The First Bite Festival 2009 have closed.
Applications still open for the Bite Size Festival 2010 .
The First Bite Festival invites companies to submit proposals for a 10-minute performance that pitches their show to the panel and audience.
These performances can take any format. The idea can be for a brand new piece of work or for a piece currently in development.
All companies performing a pitch at The First Bite Festival will receive a fee of £250 to cover their expenses. The two selected companies will each receive a commission of £3000 to include two fully supported development weeks either side of Christmas 2009.
Please note that the First Bite and Bite Size Festival programmes are designed to support theatre companied from the West Midlands making work through a collaborative process.
