The First Bite Festival

The First Bite Festival is a day of eclectic extracts and ideas from some of the West Midlands most exciting theatre makers.

First Bite returned with a bigger and better programme of new work and events!
 
First Bite presented 13 eclectic performances, extracts and ideas, and engaged with some of the most exciting theatre-makers in the West Midlands.  mac birmingham was filled with shows performed throughout the venue... from the theatre to the back of a bus!
 
Once again, two of the pieces seen at First Bite were selected for commission by mac birmingham and Warwick Arts Centre - a huge congratulations to Untied Artists and Babakas who will both be receiving funding, rehearsal space and support from China Plate, mac birmingham and Warwick Arts Centre (with support from Bristol Ferment / Bristol Old Vic).  The developed pieces will be performed at Bite Size Festival on the 10th March 2012 at Warwick Arts Centre.
