We're delighted to be able to announce the full line up for The Bite Size Festival 2010.
Join us a Warwick Arts Centre on the 6th of March for a daylong showcase of new work from some of the most intrepid and original theatre makers working in the West Midlands.
This carefully selected programme will take you on a whirlwind tour of the region's theatre, offering you a one-off opportunity to sample a range of great work in one place on the same day.
Over the course of the day we will present work from well-established companies alongside those you may not have seen before. There will be work in development, work in excerpt, and work in full. Our lineup this year includes Stan's Cafe, Pentabus, Foursight, Kindle, Jane Packman Productions, Spanner, New Macho, Needle and Thread and Vanessa Oakes. PLUS the first opportunity to see two shows we've commissioned especially with Warwick Arts Centre and mac following the First Bite Festival back in November: Caroline Horton's You're Not Like The Other Girls Chrissy and Untied Artists' Al Bowlly's Croon Manifesto.
As well as some of the finest work being made in the West Midlands, this year we are presenting two new pieces developed with our partner venue in the East The Junction in Cambridge: This Is Now from New Art Club, and Bryony Kimmings' Sex Idiot.
Finally, join us in the bar after the last show for an evening of 30's dance music played by Untied Artists and The Gramophone Party.
